mosaic tables

"Zellige is more than a mosaic—

it is the art of preserving history and culture stone by stone."

The art of mosaic setting, known as zellige, is a centuries-old tradition and a symbol of Moroccan craftsmanship. This technique not only shaped Morocco, but also the architecture and culture of Al-Andalus, medieval Islamic Spain, and is an expression of the close cultural and artistic ties between these regions. Zellige mosaics, consisting of hand-cut geometric ceramic tiles, adorned palaces, mosques, and gardens. The technique has been passed down for generations and still adorns walls, floors, mosaic tables, and mosaic fountains today. In 2016, zellige was registered by Morocco with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to protect its cultural significance. The colors and shapes of the mosaics often have profound symbolic meanings.

In mosaic tables, the tabletop is made of artfully assembled hand-cut tiles on a sturdy concrete base. The table frame is usually made of hand-forged iron. The art of blacksmithing, also deeply rooted in Moroccan tradition, ensures robust, durable structures. The handmade iron frames are carefully shaped, often incorporating decorative, curved elements that harmoniously complement the fine mosaic pattern of the tabletop.

We offer round and rectangular mosaic tables in various sizes as well as mosaic fountains. Matching wrought iron chairs and furniture round off the range and ensure a harmonious overall look. Our mosaic tables are perfect as stylish dining tables for indoor and outdoor use, as coffee tables, as side tables, or as decorative accents in gardens and on terraces.

We are also happy to supply restaurants, bars, and cafés to enrich your outdoor dining area with authentic Moorish-Moroccan elegance.

Be inspired by our selection and create an ambience that combines charm and tradition – for your home or your restaurant.
