Tawus is Persian and means peacock. The Tawus mosaic fountain owes its name to the two proud birds decorating the back wall. In the Orient, they embody beauty, but also the claim to power of a ruler. Probably no one has never heard of the legendary peacock throne of the Shah of Persia. The peacocks are integrated into floral and climbing ornaments and a traditional diamond border. The brass water spout/water outletis designed as a stylized lion's head.
Despite its impressive height, the mosaic fountain is relatively narrow in design. This means it takes up very little space and fits into many a niche. It is perfect for the garden. Place it in front of a hedge, in a garden pavilion, or on the terrace in front of the house wall. It is easy to move on its transport rollers. In the cold season, you can enjoy its soothing splashing water in the conservatory. A built-in electric pump circulates the water. Thanks to the circulation system, the mosaic fountain only needs to be filled once at the beginning of the season. Of course, you can switch the water flow on and off as required.
Because blue embodies water, a blue tile mosaic is the symbol of all life. Cobalt blue is extracted from a mineral in the mountains of southern Morocco. It is omnipresent in the northernmost royal city and therefore also bears the name "Blue of Fez."
