In 2003, the time had finally come: we, Mohammed Mehdi and Mohamed Moutamassik, were able to receive the first delivery from our home country of Morocco. Friends encouraged us to follow our intention, as we had noticed a great longing for the exoticism of oriental splendor and lifestyle in Germany. The fascination emanating from the souks and gardens of Morocco is so strong that hardly anyone can resist it. After a successful start, we gradually expanded our range with beautiful items from Egypt, India, and Indonesia. We still do not use any middlemen—our goods are imported directly to Europe.

Our furniture, lamps, ceramics, woodwork, textiles, and accessories for the home and garden are truly unique. They are made entirely by hand, in keeping with the tradition that has existed in the Orient since time immemorial. We attach great importance to the use of high-quality materials and fair payment for the craftsmen. Through direct contact with the producers, we can not only guarantee this fairness, but also ensure that our products are made exclusively by adults. We strictly reject child labor.

We care deeply about our planet. That's why we increasingly rely on recycled materials – specifically recycled teak wood and reused glass and plastic. Other products have been awarded certificates such as FLEGT (Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). It goes without saying that we comply with the EUTR (EU Timber Regulation). We also attach great importance to sustainability when it comes to packaging for national and international shipping. For example, we use shredded cardboard boxes that have reached the end of their useful life as filling material.
