The Orient is famous for its handcrafted carpet production. Each Oriental carpet regionhas its own patterns and colors. When we think of carpets from Morocco, we often think of Berber carpets first. The Oriental carpets made by the indigenous Berber population are made of high-quality sheep's wool and feature geometric patterns. Casa Moro Berber carpets are kept in neutral colors, exude a certain calm and elegance, and fit perfectly with any interior design style. Our patchwork carpets are created in a completely different way: they are sewn together from recycled carpet pieces of different colors and patterns. With a patchwork carpet, you can breathe new life into several antique carpets at once.

Good to know: Carpets from Morocco are divided into two main groups: Berber carpets and city carpets. Berber carpets are knotted or woven, have a rough surface, and vary in color and pattern. However, the design is always reduced to a few colors. City carpets are completely different, with their rich ornaments reminiscent of palace furnishings.
