A very old cooking method for wholesome, healthy cuisine...!
A tagine from Morocco is a clay pot with a lid that embodies a cooking technique that is thousands of years old. In Morocco, both the casserole dish and the dishes cooked in it are called tagines (pronounced tagine). Our "Terra Natur" tagine is hand-made from natural clay, fired without additives or glaze, and hand-painted. The "Terra Natur" tagine has a flat bottom and is therefore suitable for all types of stoves, ovens, and charcoal grills. An ideal casserole dish for many dishes, it cooks very gently, preserving the flavors that develop during the braising process.
