Yellow is the color of the sun and light. The same bright yellow as these Zellige rhombuses was once achieved by clay burners using a toxic arsenic ore. Since this has been discovered, harmless pigments have been used. This makes no difference to the color effect: yellow is reminiscent of lemons and beautiful fields of flowers. Combined with terracotta-colored mosaic tiles, a yellow mosaic table conjures up the summery south in your garden.
